huh...well, i'll be damned (well, i would be...except for the fact that i probably already am...so...i suppose the better way to say that would be i am damned). the visit with the in-laws is going SO AMAZINGLY WELL so far. i am in shock. her mom and i have been doing pretty well for quite some time now, so that wasn't too scary- but this is the first time i have met her dad and stepmom and they have been very nice to me. to me. odd, that. it has been pretty sad sometimes for me though- it is much harder than i would have guessed to be around someone else's dad. a few times it has crossed my mind that i will never see my dad again- so that can be hard... but other than that- and the obvious lack of them ever mentioning anything having to do with the wedding- it is going great.
