finished reading it? good. first off- i agree with what the author wrote (if you followed that link) about the whole liquid terrorism crap right now.

but i wasn't coming here in this absurdly early hour of the day to talk about the stupid government and how the terrorists have already won and how we are being treated more and more like prisoners. mark my words- doing that will only make crime increase...self-fulfilling prophecy. treat innocent people like criminals and they will start acting more like them.

i am here because my wife is a hilariously passionate person. i sat here listening to her rant about banning passengers from carrying anything liquid onto planes for quite some time. oh, she was quite fired up (and i don't blame her...but i just don't usually spend what little energy i have getting rowled up about that...i get irritated at other things- like waiting in line...you know...healthy stuff...). but anywho, she ranted and ranted...

and then she randomly yells loudly (to give a visual, imagine ren from ren and stimpy in the middle of one of his psychotic fits- that is kinda how she yelled this). "whaaat? now the feds want standardized testing in colleges?"

actually, it wasn't random at all- she had moved on to the next news story that she was reading- i just didn't not know that. to me, her rant had just taken a very odd, very passionately angry turn.
