the movie with the worst psychologist (maybe not the worst, but one of the worst ever) is rampage: the hillside strangler murders. before a hypnosis session to check for the presence of an extra personality in the suspected murderer (who turns out, was the murderer...well, one of them...but that is neither here nor there) the shrink said outloud (in front of him) that they were looking for steve and any other personalities that emerged. he indicated that he didn't understand so she said schizophrenics often have more than 2 personalities. what a pet peeve of mine. i wish hollywood would get the disorders straight before using them in movies. that should have been dissociative identity disorder (or multiple personality disorder would have been more accurate because of the time the movie took place- 1978). schizophrenics don't have separate personalities- they have a break from reality.
