panther's lair

he just looks so damned cute right now (which is really saying something because i tend to think that he is always damn cute)...but this little haircut...oh my my my my my...

when we got home, the little girl next door asked him why his hair looked different. he (in a very excited little way) danced over to here and squeeeed and squealed about how he got a mohawk. he also hugged her.

just adorable.

in other news, i just talked to my grandparents. i am learning how i have more in common with my dad than i ever actually realized before.

it makes me feel both really really good- because most of the things we have in common are our good traits- the things that i really want to live on from him. the anger- well, that is a not so good trait that i shared with him- but most of the others are good. it also makes me feel really really sad because 1) i have to wonder why the fuck did i never notice how similar i was to him before, especially because i do know that i have a lot of similarities with my mom, and 2) i wish i would have known that earlier because it may have given us a chance to have a closer relationship.

so yeah...

but the faux hawk is cute as hell.
