people
have you ever noticed that the majority of mullets have brown hair. you hardly every sport a mullet with blonde or black hair (it does happen- but i swear there are more brown...and believe me, i look for mullets. always. no matter my mood. no matter at all. i'm always looking out for mullets and birds, and cats. and monkeys too. but i digress).

anywho, the sweet one just pointed out that mullets are also often gray- but i'd be willing to wager that most gray mullets were strapping young brown haired mullets back in the day. or maybe they had regular haircuts at some point before they became mullets.

i also find it amusing that at some point in my life, i stopped thinking of mullets as people with mullets. they simply became mullets. they mullets have overtaken the people underneath them- i am all consumed by their mighty mullets.

i also find it amusing that one of my long time favorite musicians, who i have also found to be absolutely delightfully sexy for as long as i can remember, has at various points in his life also been a mullet. in fact, we just saw bono on the tv show we have on right now, and he said something about the mullet making a comeback, and for that he is glad. sigh.

well, i suppose he can't be completely perfect. there is also the fact that long ago he entered the realm where few others can go- where they can pretty much do whatever they want and i will still be a loyal fan (aside from purposely just hurting people or being a bigot...i mean, they can wear what they want, sing about what they want and how they want...i tend to stay pretty loyal once you enter the sacred circle of top favorites. bono is one such person. so he is allowed to be a mullet if he wants (just like he is allowed to fly his hat first class in an airplane to him because he forgot to bring it with him in the first place).
